Constructive feedback can be positive. Positive feedback is more than just saying “great job”. It’s about being specific about what you see going well. Positive feedback that is specific show that you recognize the work the person is doing is helping.
Positive feedback can also strengthen alignment. By pointing out where a person is delivering outputs that match the quality of work needed and even where the quality is improving, your give your team the signals they need to stay inspired, the direction needed to co tongue growth, and help them identify which strengths they need to lean into.
