Communication is important, but is too broad a definition for what is needed here. I always reframe communication as dialog. Where communication can be limited to one direction e.g. written feedback, a dialogue flows in both directions. With dialogue you create feedback loops. Feedback loops add to a pool of shared meaning. This helps contributors to the dialogue learn, understand intent, create clarity and alignment between each other.
